Why is PNW added to Adobe Training KC?

The PNW stands for Pacific Northwest. Bryan has moved his location to the Oregon coast in Astoria and now offers training to Oregon and Washington state along with Kansas City. All one-on-one training is now available via Skype, Facetime, or what ever your company prefers. Training at your business location is still available with a minimum of 4 to 6 attendees.


What time do classes start and finish?

We offer full day, two day and three day classes. Any of our full day classes begin at 9:00 a.m. and typically end at 4:30 p.m., depending on class progress, questions and so on. Our three day classes begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m.


Where are you located?

Training for one-on-one is held online via Skype, or Facetime or what ever online share screen service you prefer. OnSite training is also available - (office, conference room, hotel and library). Only a few items are requested depending on your location, a minimum of 4 to 6 attendees. At times an overhead projector is needed and supplied by you.The best training is if you are able to have each attendee at a computer with the correct software.


What type of computers and operating systems do you use?

Adobe software training is supplied by you on your computers either Mac or PC. Software versions for training can be the Creative Suite or CS versions 4, 5, 5.5 or 6.


Are your classes hands-on?

Yes. We believe that the best way to learn is being at a computer working with the instructor and each other. The instructor explains the processes along with showing on an over head projector with examples, then having you complete the task using the computer in class. If each attendee is not able to have a computer then offering training via overhead projector is the second best option.


What are your class policies and procedures?

Payment: Training classes payment is due the first day of class. We accept company and personal checks or credit card (visa, Master Card, or AMEX ).

Cell Phones and Email: We ask that cell phones, and smart phones be turned off during training. Attendees will have access to their cell phones and email during breaks and lunchtime.

Class cancellation: Without penalty cancellation must be at least six (6) business days before the scheduled training. Registration cancellations within four (4) business days will be refunded, less a $50 cancellation fee per attendee. If you cannot attend your registered class, you may send a substitute to your class or a credit, less the cancellation fee, will be issued toward a future training session. Any cancellation received within three (3) business days or less will be charged at the full class rate.

Reschedule: If you notify us within four (4) business days that you are unable to attend a class but you are able to reschedule within two months or when the class is offered again, you will not be charged a $50 cancellation fee. For more details please contact us at 816-718-7153.

Weather: Of course, we have to be careful about the ever-changing weather. In the case of inclement weather, we may cancel classes. The best bet is to use common sense and never take a risk to get to one of our classes. More than likely, we have cancelled the class, anyway. We will simply move the class to another day or take care of the training another way. Feel free to call 816-718-7153 to check on class cancellations due to bad weather. Schedule changes: Quite often we are faced with the task of accommodating many schedules. This can be a challenge. As a result, we may have to move the class schedules from time-to-time. We almost never cancel a class because of low enrollment and we will work with you directly to find the best available fit for your schedule


Do you offer discounts on training?

We give a 10% discount to all non-protit organizations, this includes - churches, government, teachers and any organization with a 501c3 status. We may ask that you bring with you at class time a copy of your non-profit letter. We partner with many local groups in the Kansas City area. If you belong to AIGA, Freelance Exchange, then you too will receive a 10% discount on training. You can find more information on discounts by clicking here.


Do you offer customized training?

We love working with clients or individuals on customizing training specific to your needs.

1-to-1: We offer one to one training for individuals who are looking for training in a specific task.

Groups: Customizing a class for companies, groups or organizations is right up our alley. Classes can include detailed guidelines that you need to get out to your employees, along with training specific needs in an application.
